Job Description Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed. The Security Professional will conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior) in a hospital environment. Additional duties include controlling access and egress; monitoring CCTV and alarm systems; composing reports; deterring criminal activity and misconduct. Due to the safety‑sensitive nature of this role, qualified candidates must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law. Pay Rate: $21.05 / Hour Schedules Monday to Friday 1400 – 2200 Complete the prescreen to be considered for an interview: HCA Gulf Coast Division Pre‑Screen – Fill out form What You’ll Do Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with onsite personnel and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and observe visitor and staff movement to help deter disruptions, support site rules, and document security‑related concerns according to Allied Universal and location guidelines. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1+ year of security‑related experience. Hospital vaccinations are required. Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
