West Plains Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shop Hand / Equipment Detailer to join our team in Dickinson, North Dakota. What You’ll Do

• Wash, clean, and detail agricultural equipment, vehicles, and machinery
• Prepare equipment for display, delivery, and customer pickup
• Assist service technicians by moving equipment and staging units for repair
• Maintain clean, organized shop, wash bay, and yard areas
• Support general shop operations and daily workflow
• Complete assigned facility and maintenance tasks as needed
• Communicate professionally with service, parts, and sales teams
• Help maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Contribute to a positive customer experience through attention to detail

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
• Dependability and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and support shop operations
• No prior experience required, but experience in detailing or shop work is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors and in shop environments
• Able to work around equipment, fluids, and varying environmental conditions
