Phlebotomy TechnicianPay Range: $22.00hr - $27.20hrRequirement/Must Have:Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.High school diploma or equivalent is required.Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.Phlebotomy certification is required in California, Nevada, and Washington.Minimum of 6 months experience is required.Customer service experience in a retail or service environment is preferred.Keyboard and data entry experience is required.Responsibilities:Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.Maintain a safe and professional environment.Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.Maintain required records and documentation.Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.Explain procedures to patients and draw blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality.Nice to Have:One+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.Skills:Phlebotomy.Pediatric Phlebotomy.Geriatric Phlebotomy.Specimen Processing.Data Entry.Customer Service.Qualification And Education:High school diploma or equivalent.Phlebotomy Certification (CA).
