•The Utilities Design and Construction Division manages the bid advertisement, contract award processes, and overseeing all aspects of construction contract management for transportation projects and stormwater projects including inspection, testing, code compliance, warranty, and project closeout. Note: This position is in the Stormwater Construction Branch, located in the Fairfax County Government Center at 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, Virginia. This position may be eligible for telework. *A $5,000 signing bonus is available to new county employees hired in the Engineer IV position.

Approximately 20% of the time spent on field investigations, measurements, meetings, and reviews of Stormwater construction projects including Natural Channel Design, Stormwater basin retrofits, dredging projects, dam construction or repairs, and other stormwater projects.
