Location: Scene 75 Brunswick, OH Position Type: Full Time Salary Job Summary The Technical Service Manager will oversee technology and maintenance at the park. They will be a self‑starter with experience in electro‑mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting. Successful candidates will be lifelong learners, fantastic problem solvers, and exceptional customer service partners, ensuring every guest leaves happy. Responsibilities Supervise Maintenance Techs to ensure assigned tasks are effectively addressed Meet regularly with staff to provide supervision and encourage open communication Ensure compliance with state, federal, and other regulatory agencies Provide continuous training and development of the tech and maintenance team Determine schedules for maintenance staff to ensure appropriate coverage and expedite work Oversee, clean, and be responsible for multiple attractions including coasters, virtual reality systems, laser tag, simulators, and more Order all parts following budgets Assist techs on major escalated issues Work with senior leaders to develop training programs Assist with POS systems, projectors, and other building equipment Ensure daily preventative maintenance and repairs are completed Maintain PM logs for all attractions and keep them up to date Manage building maintenance and coordinate contractors for repairs Maintain a safety‑focused attitude at all times Document fire and disaster drills in accordance with regulatory requirements Implement corrective actions from internal or external safety inspections Inspect storage rooms, work rooms, and utility/janitorial closets for upkeep and supply control Follow all maintenance processes, including safety, OSHA, logging, and reporting Assist with parts/tools inventory and purchasing for stores Maintain payout structure and troubleshoot with Embed and Center Edge POS systems Ensure maintenance personnel follow established safety regulations when using equipment and supplies Ensure use of safety equipment and supplies (e.g., back brace, mechanical lifts) when lifting or moving heavy objects Maintain supplies and equipment to provide a safe and comfortable environment Obtain and maintain material safety data sheets (SDS) for hazardous chemicals in the maintenance department Label and store hazardous chemicals properly in the department Perform other duties as assigned Familiarity with Embed system and Center Edge POS software is a plus Education High school or equivalent education required Qualifications Must be 21 years or older Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience in a supervisory capacity in a maintenance‑related position Requirements Must maintain a neat, clean, and well‑groomed appearance to company standards Highly organized with a strong work ethic Must be able and willing to stand or walk for up to 10‑hour shifts Five Star Parks & Attractions is an equal opportunity employer.
