Healthcare Simulation Technologist

Position Overview The Simulation Operation Specialist (SOS) plays an integral role on the nursing education team ensuring that all simulation equipment is maintained, set up, stored, and cleaned for each student simulation scenario. The SOS also manages the student lab, maintaining supplies and handling setup and teardown based on curriculum. The role reports to the Director, Nursing Services. Location: Pacific Lutheran University, 1002 15th Street SW, Auburn, WA Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00a.m.–4:30p.m. Compensation: Up to $80,168.40 annually Benefits: Full benefits portfolio including tuition package Responsibilities Provide support in the use of simulation in healthcare settings Prepare and maintain lab equipment and materials related to simulation Operate patient simulators for the duration of simulations Assist in training faculty in the use of simulation equipment Troubleshoot and repair simulation equipment and related equipment Set up and tear down rooms for various simulations Recommend equipment, supplies, and materials Maintain current knowledge of simulation equipment catalogs and operation manuals Operate and maintain audio/visual equipment as needed Qualifications Interest in healthcare simulation and customer service experience Knowledge of databases, internet, spreadsheets, and word processing software Proficient use of PC, internet, simulation equipment, and basic nursing equipment Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills Two or more years of experience working in simulation in an educational institution or equivalent setting (preferred) Benefits and Perks Career where your work genuinely makes a difference Stable income with a competitive salary Extensive training with team and management support Structured professional development plans and opportunities Outstanding benefits and work perks Collaborative and supportive team environment Employment is contingent upon the satisfactory outcome of pre‑employment screening activities, including a background check. #J-18808-Ljbffr GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY
