Service / Applications Engineer — Central/South Texas Viscom Inc. | Electronics Manufacturing / Automated Inspection Viscom develops and builds automated inspection solutions for several industries. Due to continued growth across the Americas, we're looking for motivated engineers to join our team as a Service / Applications Engineer (SPI, AOI, AXI, MXI) . What You'll Do Install and commission Viscom and Exacom systems throughout the Americas Service and support installed systems Train customers on system use Manage customer issues through to resolution Provide phone, remote, and on-call support Prepare inspection programs for our systems Identify service and training opportunities What You Bring Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience (A.S, B.S.) Strong written and oral communication skills Advanced computer proficiency Self-managed and comfortable working independently Willingness to travel up to 75% — valid passport required Must be open to relocating within Texas Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends AOI, SPI, MXI, or AXI experience a plus Familiarity with electronics manufacturing, SMT processes, and/or NDT Applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR (U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents/Green Card holders).
