What’s a typical day as Forklift Operator? You’ll be:

• Inspecting the forklift before use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Loading and unloading materials and goods onto and off trucks, trailers, or storage areas using the forklift.
• Maintaining inventory records and reporting any discrepancies to management.
• Operating the forklift in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
• Keeping the work area clean and organized.
• Reporting any forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have at least 3 months of forklift experience and/or experience using warehouse distribution equipment.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Can successfully complete internal Forklift Certification Training and demonstrate safety procedures.
• Are comfortable working in environments that may be dusty, hot, or cold.
• Can regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs, and occasionally up to 65 lbs with team lifting or equipment.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and effective communication skills.
• Are able to perform physical activities such as bending, crouching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping, and reaching.
