NICU/PICU Registered Nurse
Location: Houston, TX
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM shifts
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced NICU/PICU Registered Nurse for a critical care position within our Cardiopulmonary unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform intubations and administer surfactants
- Provide care for patients in Level 3 NICU and PICU
- Assist with deliveries and provide immediate care for newborns
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and collaborate with healthcare teams
- Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must have Level 3 NICU or pediatric critical care experience; adult experience is not acceptable
- Current certifications: NRP, PALS, ACLS, BLS
- Ability to float to Adult ICU, Floors, Level 2 NICU, and more as needed
