Maintenance Assistant

Delaware Opportunities Inc. is seeking a full-time Maintenance Assistant responsible for cleaning and assisting with the upkeep of our main office building in Hamden. The ideal candidate is hardworking, reliable, flexible, and able to work independently. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage daily responsibilities with minimal supervision. Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Sweep, vacuum, or clean floors; Ensure all bathrooms are cleaned daily; replenish toilet paper, paper towels, and soap as needed; Wash non-carpeted floors; Empty all wastebaskets; Remove garbage and recycling and ensure they are properly stored; Replace light bulbs as needed; Dust desks and all office furniture weekly; wash as necessary; Wash curtains as needed; Wash the inside of windows as needed; Perform similar or related tasks as directed Qualifications/Skills: High School Diploma or GED required; Ability to work independently and perform tasks necessary to clean the entire office and assist with the maintenance of the building; Must be able to lift and move boxes or items as needed Schedule & Pay: Full-time, Evenings, Monday - Friday 30 hours per week Pay range: $17.28 - $20.61 depending on experience For questions regarding this position, please contact Hope Lambrecht at View phone number on click.appcast.io.
