Job Title: Production Helper Job Description

The Production Helper supports secondary operators and roll forming machine operators in a general labor role within a manufacturing environment. This position focuses on assisting with production line setup, loading and unloading parts, deburring formed components, performing basic quality checks, and preparing finished goods for shipment.

• Assist secondary operators and roll forming machine operators with daily production activities.
• Help set up the production line, including preparing materials and equipment for operation.
• Load and unload parts from the production line safely and efficiently.
• Use hand tools to load and unload parts as needed throughout the shift.
• Deburr all formed parts that come from the machine operator to ensure smooth edges and proper finish.
• Perform quality checks on parts to verify they meet required standards and specifications.
• Pack finished goods securely and accurately for shipping, following established packaging procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while working around machinery and materials.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues with parts, equipment, or processes to appropriate personnel.

• Previous load or unload experience or general labor experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work safely around machinery and production equipment.
• Capability to use basic hand tools for loading, unloading, and deburring parts.
• Attention to detail when deburring and performing quality checks on parts.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift, move, and handle materials and parts throughout the shift.
• Reliability and consistency in performing assigned tasks and meeting production expectations.

• Industrial manufacturing experience.
• Machine operating experience is a plus.
• Deburr experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of fabrication and steel processing is beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively as a helper in a machine operating environment.

This role is based in a manufacturing facility with an industrial atmosphere. Team members work around machinery, steel parts, and fabrication equipment. Management maintains a laid-back and relaxed approach as long as employees are fulfilling their responsibilities and following safety procedures. Work attire is appropriate for an industrial manufacturing environment, with an emphasis on safety and practicality.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jeffersonville, IN.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Jeffersonville,IN.
