Java Backend Developer

Job TitleLead technical design for Java/Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, event-driven workflows & service integrations.Guide code quality, pull request reviews, testing standards, and engineering best practices.Own integration patterns with downstream services, OAuth2/Keycloak security, RabbitMQ messaging, and Oracle/JPA persistence.Partner with product, QA, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver production-ready capabilities.Mentor engineers and translate business requirements into clear technical implementation plans.10+ years Java engineering; 5+ years technical leadership on enterprise microservices.Core SkillsJava 17+/21, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Spring Security, OAuth2/JWT, Keycloak, Oracle, JPA/Hibernate, RabbitMQ, Maven, Docker, Git-based CI/CD.PreferredFinancial services, fixed-income, trading, settlement, GSE, banking, or regulated domain experience.
