CT Technologist

Under the supervision of the Radiologist and CT Supervisor, administers and performs advanced CT procedures in accordance with departmental protocols. Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of CT procedures, including interventional cases, CT Angiography, and 3D reconstructions.
• Administer contrast media via IV, oral, or rectal routes, ensuring proper documentation and patient safety.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, adhering to daily quality assurance protocols.
• Educate and prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring cooperation and understanding.
• Assist radiologists during interventional procedures to facilitate accurate imaging and patient care.
• Manage departmental workflow by scheduling inpatient and outpatient exams, prioritizing emergency cases, and maintaining operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification required; ARRT CT Registry eligible preferred.
• Valid NH Imaging License required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with GE or Siemens CT scanners and PACS software preferred.
• Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, pathology, and contrast use.
• Ability to troubleshoot CT equipment and apply ALARA principles consistently.
