Plant Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor, Stone Mountain, GA Position: Production Supervisor Location: Stone Mountain, GA Job Summary This position is a night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). The Production Supervisor is responsible for the production operations of the shift, supervising hourly team members, providing hands‑on guidance and support, and ensuring safety, GMP compliance, and quality standards. Essential Functions Directly supervise the production hourly team including production, print and packing leads, forklift driver and shift mechanic. Indirectly manage a workforce of 25–35 hourly employees engaged in manufacturing foam cups, containers and/or straws. Complete quality, efficiency and production reports daily. Ensure safe attainment of production schedules and efficiencies while monitoring equipment, processes and operating techniques. Coordinate with maintenance to keep equipment and utilities in proper working condition. Maximize raw‑material usage and minimize scrap to meet company standards. Maintain accurate records of production, absenteeism, accidents, wage increases, vacations and overtime. Communicate and enforce company work rules and policies. Enforce plant safety rules, housekeeping standards and employee work practices in accordance with OSHA/FDA regulations. Follow GMP and sanitation guidelines. Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports and shift employees. Control and monitor attendance and punctuality for the entire shift. Support all current and new product demands. Maintain housekeeping standards by keeping a clean work area. Collaborate with other departments to maintain safety, quality and plant initiatives. Partner with leadership to ensure team collaboration and productive training methods. Follow WinCup Values and company procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned. Education Requirements Associates or Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, business, or equivalent work experience. Previous supervisory experience. Experience in diverse manufacturing‑production functions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and system data reporting applications. Ability to be flexible in working other shifts when necessary. Talk, walk, sit, use hands to handle tools, reach with arms, stoop, kneel, crawl or crouch. Work Environment Workspace contains moving mechanical parts. Indoor manufacturing environment with possible extreme heat. Exposure to loud noises, odors and occasional airborne particles. PPE required: hairnet, hearing protection, safety glasses with side guards. Work 8+, 10+ or 12+ hour shifts as designated. Able to work weekdays, weekends, and overtime as required.
