Lien Transportation Co., an employee-owned site work and asphalt contractor is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a managerial accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in financial management within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities :

Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports

Monitor project costs and help analyze job profitability. Work closely with project managers to track project expenses and budgets.

Participate in payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes including sales of construction materials.

Assist in cash flow management and financial recordkeeping

Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning

Help ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

Perform financial analysis and provide administrative support to the CFO

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.

Strong analytical and numerical skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (an ERP) is an advantage.

Willingness to learn and grow in a leadership role.

Previous construction and ESOP accounting experience is a plus but not required.
