Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
Current and valid School Psychologist license or certification as required by state law
Experience working in educational or school-based settings preferred
Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and consultation
Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
Knowledge of IEP process, RTI/MTSS frameworks, and applicable special education regulations
Compassion, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and intervention planning
Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention for students
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop and monitor educational strategies
Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
Consult with families to support student learning and address behavioral or emotional concerns
Facilitate problem-solving and data-informed decision-making within the school community
Support the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports
