Registered Nurse - Ambulatory/Outpatient PACU Location Charlotte, NC Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Day shifts, 5x8-hour schedule. Shifts available from 06:00 to 14:30 and 07:30 to 16:00. Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide care in the ambulatory and outpatient PACU setting, focusing on pre and post-operative patient care, including discharge instructions and medication reconciliation. Responsibilities Starting and maintaining IVs for patients. Administering discharge instructions and conducting medication reconciliation. Obtaining operative and procedural consent from patients. Implementing malignant hyperthermia protocols and managing patient pain assessment and management. Providing follow-up phone calls and conducting pre/post-operative procedures. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required. Certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Experience in ambulatory or outpatient settings.
