Details 8-bed Cardiovascular ICU with patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3 Patient population includes post-surgical management for cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, thoracotomies, TAVRs, and post complex PCI interventions Performs post-open heart and post-cardiac procedure care including central line, arterial line, and chest tube placements Uses Edwards and GE monitoring systems and SWAN Ganz catheters Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15 13-week assignment length Requirements Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA) Minimum 2 years of experience required Background in Critical Care or Cardiac Critical Care required Open heart recovery and post-cardiac procedure recovery experience required Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Copy of driver's license required for consideration Two professional references required Additional Information Provide post-surgical and post-procedural cardiovascular critical care Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date American Traveler Job ID P-741203.
