The Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM), established in 1969, is a premier institution dedicated to advancing aviation maintenance education through high-quality training. We have 15 campuses nationwide and graduate a significant portion of FAA‑certified aircraft technicians in America. About the Role AIM is looking for an Admissions Representative based at our Phoenix campus. As the first point of contact for prospective students exploring our FAA‑approved aviation maintenance technician programs, you will help students navigate the admissions process and meet enrollment goals. Campus Location: Aviation Institute of Maintenance – 4025 S 32nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85040 Compensation: Up to $27 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities Manage a high volume of prospective student inquiries through phone, email, and virtual meetings, responding with speed and professionalism. Assess each prospective student’s goals, background, and eligibility to identify the right program fit. Guide students through every stage of the admissions process: inquiry, appointment setting, interview, application, documentation, and enrollment. Consistently meet and exceed enrollment KPIs, including outreach volume, contact‑to‑appointment conversion rates, application completion rates, and closing ratios. Follow up proactively to maintain momentum and resolve enrollment barriers. Maintain accurate records of student application status and pipeline activity in the CRM. Represent AIM at open houses, career fairs, and community recruitment events. What We’re Looking For Passionate about education and the impact of a skilled trade career. Highly organized, meets deadlines, manages multiple priorities. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree or higher preferred. Experience Proven experience in sales or customer service with record of meeting/exceeding KPIs (conversion, outreach, closing). One or more years of admissions experience in a proprietary, for‑profit post‑secondary educational setting preferred. Skills Strong written and verbal communication. Excellent time‑management and multitasking in a high‑volume environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable learning new CRM and enrollment systems. Flexible availability for occasional evenings and one Saturday per month.
