Job Title: Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift
Location: Whitsett, NC (Onsite)
Duration: Long-term Contract (May 2026 – May 2028)
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr. on W2

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician will support operations in a fast-paced distribution/manufacturing facility by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring minimal downtime while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on warehouse and manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Maintain inventory of repair tools, equipment, and supplies
• Follow work orders and complete assigned maintenance tasks
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment
• Communicate effectively with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts
• Support efforts to reduce equipment downtime

Required Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance role within warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of industrial equipment and systems
• Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ability to follow work orders and work independently
• Experience operating electric forklifts or similar equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or GED required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PLC systems
• Knowledge of industrial electrical wiring and power distribution
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Familiarity with conveyor systems
• Knowledge of Zebra or Lexmark printers
• Industrial Electrician Certification
• Degree in Maintenance, Electronics, or related field
