Currently, we are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Chief Accountantto join our Financedepartment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting processes in compliance with Polish accounting and tax regulations, while also coordinating the work of a small team. The position offers a high level of independence and visibility, with regular interaction with the Polish Steering Committee and Polish Board on key statutory accounting and finance matters.Key Responsibilities:Maintain accounting records in accordance with the Polish Accounting Act and tax regulationsRecord and post financial and accounting documentsCalculate CIT and VAT, and prepare tax returnsSettle public aid related to job creation and tax reliefsHandle withholding tax settlementsPrepare annual and interim financial statementsPrepare reports for GUS and NBPVerify and reconcile receivables and payables balancesParticipate in the preparation of transfer pricing documentationRepresent the company during financial audits and in front of regulatory institutionsEnsure compliance of operational activities with Polish tax lawsAdminister the program for increased tax-deductible costs (50% KUP)Coordinate and motivate a small team Here's what you'll need University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 6 years of experience in accounting under the Polish Accounting Act, including at least 4 years in an independent roleExcellent knowledge of Polish tax law and accounting principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh level of independence and responsibilityProven ability to manage and lead a teamFluent in PolishCommunicative level of English and willingness to further develop language proficiencyPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Enova365Familiarity with Oracle systemsOur offer:A comprehensive benefits package: private medical care, additional life insurance, flexible benefits selection via the MyBenefit platform, support for employees and their families in challenging life situations, and much more.
