OB Registered Nurse (RN) - 3x12 Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00 - 07:30

We are seeking experienced Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurses with expertise in Newborn Nursery. The OB RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients throughout all phases of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer care independently in triage, labor, immediate vaginal recovery, postpartum, and newborn care.
• Assist in both vaginal and cesarean delivery procedures.
• Care for patients during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases.
• Perform newborn assessments and resuscitation as needed.
• Utilize EFM (External Fetal Monitoring) effectively.
• Provide education and discharge teaching to parents.
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage and on-call duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 1 year of experience in an acute hospital setting, specifically in OB nursing.
• Valid New York State RN License.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP required; ERM certification preferred.
• EPIC charting experience is a must.
• Experience in both low-risk and high-risk maternal care is crucial.
