Inventory Coordinator, Georgetown, MA – Full-Time/On-Site, Monday-Friday $55,000-$65,000 per year

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our Manufacturing Team. This role is critical in ensuring inventory accuracy, supporting efficient material flow, and coordinating activities between warehouse, logistics, purchasing, and production teams.

The Inventory Coordinator manages inventory levels, tracks product movement, maintains accurate inventory records, and ensures efficient receiving and storage processes. This position plays a key role in preventing material shortages, reducing excess inventory, and supporting smooth manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Track inventory transactions using ERP and inventory management systems.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate reports on inventory status, slow-moving materials, and stock trends.
• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Record receiving transactions accurately and promptly in ERP systems.
• Move materials to designated storage locations and maintain proper inventory organization.
• Collaborate with purchasing, shipping, receiving, and production teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Report shipment discrepancies, shortages, overages, and damaged goods to the Purchasing department.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.

Desired Background/Skills:

• 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, logistics, receiving, or a related field.
• Experience working with ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
