Lab Assistant

Job Opportunity

Independent lab is looking for someone to assist in the pathology lab. Working hours are Monday-Friday 3-11. Work near beautiful downtown Greenville!

Salary: $15/hr

What your future day will look like:

• Open all incoming bags from couriers (check for specimen integrity)
• Call office with sample or order issues
• Check requisitions for name and DOB
• Sort billing
• File paperwork
• Restock/check supplies
• Biohazard trash
• Label samples
• Parafilm HPV samples
• Accession when needed

Type: Temp to hire

To be a champion in this role, you will need:

• Medical Terminology gained through work experience or coursework
• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior EMR experience preferred
• Computer competency
• Strong attention to detail
• Type min of 35 wpm
