Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or LPN Full Time Cumming, GA, US 7 days ago Requisition ID: 1226 Salary Range: $17.00 To $24.00 Hourly Cleaver Medical Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Pain Management team! We are looking for a dependable, compassionate, and clinically focused team member who enjoys working directly with patients and thrives in a fast-paced medical environment. This position will play an important role in supporting our providers and ensuring patients receive excellent care throughout their visit. Position Responsibilities Room and prepare patients for provider visits Obtain and document patient vital signs and medical history Perform urine drug screenings and other clinical testing as directed Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures Review and update patient medications and medical history Pull and organize medical records, imaging, and other relevant patient information Accurately document patient information and care in the electronic medical record (EMR) Respond to patient voicemails and assist with clinical follow-up as needed Communicate with patients regarding appointments, questions, and care instructions Assist with prescription-related requests and provider messages within the scope of the role Coordinate with providers and other clinical team members to ensure efficient patient flow Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical environment Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and practice policies Provide professional, compassionate, and respectful patient care Perform other clinical and administrative duties as needed Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Previous experience in a medical office preferred Pain management experience is a plus, but not required Strong clinical and communication skills Comfortable interacting with patients in a professional and compassionate manner Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation skills Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Reliable, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team Experience with electronic medical records preferred What We Offer Paid Time Off (PTO) Medical Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Aflac Supplemental Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow within a private medical practice The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who is patient-focused, dependable, organized, and confident in a clinical setting .
