About the Position

Job Title: RN - Med Surg Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Client experience Description: This position is a backfill contract for an RN in a medical surgical unit. The contract duration is for 13 weeks. The shift hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The unit has a total of 32 beds. Patient ratios are 5:1 for day shifts and 6:1 for night shifts. Typical equipment used on the unit includes a bladder scanner, vital sign machine, telemetry, and lifts. The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech. Candidates with three years or more of nursing experience are preferred. An open-to-feedback mentality is the ideal personality fit for this role. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs with the designated logo. This position offers an opportunity to work with a new opening on the unit.
