The Edge from Within.Ignite Digital is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to lead advanced analytics efforts supporting a US Navy data analytics, cloud management, and IT modernization program. This position plays a critical role in guiding analytic strategy, developing high-impact data solutions, and shaping decision-ready insights for Navy mission stakeholders.The Senior Data Analyst provides strategic direction, technical expertise, and hands-on leadership across complex data initiatives. The role is responsible for designing analytic solutions, driving end-to-end analysis projects, mentoring junior analysts, and ensuring that all data products meet rigorous quality, accuracy, and governance standards. The candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and mission leadership to understand data needs and deliver trusted, actionable insights.Key responsibilities include:Leading data analysis projects from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with mission and program objectives.Designing and implementing scalable data analysis solutions to meet evolving business and operational needs.Building, maintaining, and optimizing data models, databases, and data pipelines.Creating advanced visualizations, dashboards, and analytic reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.Conducting complex statistical analysis and developing predictive models using R or Python.Presenting findings, insights, and recommendations clearly to executive leadership and senior stakeholders.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics solutions into Navy enterprise systems.Mentoring and guiding junior analysts; providing leadership on analytic techniques, tools, and best practices.Developing, refining, and maintaining standards, procedures, and documentation for data analysis workflows.Ensuring the quality, accuracy, and governance compliance of all data products.Researching, evaluating, and recommending emerging analytics technologies, tools, and methodologies.Required skills and experience include:7+ years of professional experience in data analysis, analytics engineering, or related disciplines.Expert-level proficiency in R or Python, SQL, and multiple visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).Deep experience with statistical analysis, advanced modeling, and predictive analytics.Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-guidance abilities.Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate complex analytics for executive audiences.Experience with data governance, data quality, and enterprise data management principles.Education:Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.Security ClearanceActive DoW SECRET clearance is required.Salary: $100k+ to align with education and experience.Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
