Quick Facts: Location: 2550 Sister Mary Columba Drive, Red Bluff, CA 96080 Start Date: 06/25/2026 Duration: Ongoing coverage, with specific dates required (e.g., July 25-29) Shift: 24-hour OB and GYN ED call (no clinic or office duties) Hours/Week: Approximately available for scheduled on-call shifts Employment Type: Locum – temporary physician License/Certifications: Active California Medical License, Board Certified/Eligible in OB/GYN Experience: Full scope OB GYN, including deliveries and gynecological surgeries Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: Negotiable (rate to be discussed upon application) Pay Packages Includes: Malpractice coverage, travel and licensure reimbursements, and other expenses Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements What You’ll Do: Provide full scope OB GYN care, including deliveries and gynecological surgeries Respond to on-call emergencies within 20 minutes Handle inpatient and outpatient cases, averaging 16-20 patients per day Collaborate with dedicated support staff, including Medical Assistants and Practice Managers Document patient care efficiently using Cerner EMR What You Need: Required: Current California medical license with OB/GYN certification Active provider privileges or willingness to credential (30-60 days) Experience with deliveries, gynecological surgeries, and full scope OB GYN care Ability to respond promptly within 20 minutes Preferred: Prior locum or emergency coverage experience Comfortable working in both inpatient and outpatient environments About the Assignment: This role involves providing OB GYN services in a well-supported hospital setting in Red Bluff. The facility seeks a dedicated provider to cover OB/GYN ED call with a focus on full scope OB GYN services, including deliveries and surgeries. No NICU responsibilities are included.
