At Roto‑Rooter, we’re looking for motivated, dependable individuals to join our Water Restoration Team as a Lead Technician. In this role, you won’t just be doing a job, you’ll be helping homeowners and businesses recover from unexpected water damage and getting them back to normal. What You’ll Do Lead or assist in water extraction, drying, and cleanup services for residential and commercial properties Respond quickly to water damage situations and take action to minimize loss and prevent further damage Set up and monitor drying equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers to ensure effective restoration Work closely with team members to restore properties to their pre‑loss condition safely and efficiently Communicate with customers on‑site, providing updates and delivering a professional, reassuring experience during stressful situations Complete accurate job documentation, including photos, moisture readings, and service reports Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company standards, safety guidelines, and restoration protocols Support team productivity by helping train and guide junior technicians when needed Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to safely operate company vehicles 3+ years of hands‑on experience in water, fire, mold, or smoke restoration, including leading and coordinating job site activities Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage crews, delegate tasks, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards Strong working knowledge of restoration equipment, including moisture meters, drying systems, demolition practices, and containment setup IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT) preferred, or equivalent hands‑on field experience Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, insurance adjusters, and team members while maintaining accurate job documentation We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, color, sex, gender, age, national origin, veteran status, military status, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
