About the Role
As a Line Cook, you'll be hands-on in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, preparing and plating food that matches our high standards. You'll work closely with both kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure every guest gets an exceptional experience. This is a tip-eligible position and a great opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic brewery kitchen.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other menu items using grills, broilers, ovens, fryers, and other equipment
- Follow recipes and plating standards to ensure consistency and quality
- Expedite orders and communicate clearly with the kitchen and FOH teams
- Assist with events and special menus as needed
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations
- Rotate inventory and ensure proper food storage and freshness
- Support training and teamwork on the line
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations

- High School Diploma or GED
- 23+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen environment
- San Diego County Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-first mindset
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Must be over 18 years of age or able to show proof of a work permit if under 18 years of age
- Must be able to obtain Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire
- Must be able to obtain California Responsible Beverage Service certification within 60 days of hire
- Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
- Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 7 hours)
- Able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds numerous times per shift
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
