Trauma Surgery Locums Job in Arizona 24-Hour Call 10/1/2026 - 2/28/2027 Assignment Coverage Details October 1, 2026 - February 28, 2027 Temporary privileges available Shift Details Primary call: 6a-6a, in-house coverage Secondary/backup call: 6a-6a, 24-hour call (offsite) 4-6 24-hour call shifts per month Call coverage rotates every other day from Primary to Backup Weekend coverage required In-house and offsite call coverage required Requirements Clean background required Board Certified Surgical Critical Care and General Surgery Active Arizona License or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission) ATLS, BLS, DEA Completion of Surgical Critical Care fellowship Clean malpractice/background 2 years of recent Level I trauma experience Required Procedures / Skills Support Level I Trauma Service Acute care surgery Assignment Details Setting: Inpatient Facility Trauma Level: I EMR: Cerner Support Staff: NP/PA Patient population: Adult Admissions: 40-80 Response time when on backup call is 30 minutes to facility FTE: 1.0 Local candidate preferred The Jackson and Coker Advantage: Join a team that prioritizes your peace of mind so you can focus on patient care.
