Bookkeeper & Payroll

Associate. Position Purpose: Responsible for managing the payroll and bookkeeping department by performing payroll processing, financial recordkeeping, reconciliations, reporting, and client support activities while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions:

Assist with processing payroll. Review payroll data for completeness and accuracy. Enter employee earnings, deductions, benefits, and payroll changes. Generate payroll reports and assist with payroll reconciliations. Support quarterly and year-end payroll reporting activities, including W-2 preparation. Respond to payroll-related client inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Enter and maintain client financial records. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Support preparation of financial reports and account reconciliations. Maintain organized work papers and supporting documentation. Other duties as assigned

As an ideal candidate to join the AVTECH team, you will meet the following: Education and Experience Requirements:

2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and general ledger accounting Hands-on experience with financial statements, general ledger accounting, payroll processing, payroll tax deposits, and filing payroll forms with the IRS and state agencies Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines Clear, professional communication skills Authorized to work in the United States
