Project and Business Management Strategist

TSI Federal is seeking a Project and Business Management Strategist to support the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) in Fall Church, VA. Selected applicant will be expected to work independently to perform the following duties:• Assist the Government staff in all aspects of strategy management: strategic planning, execution, integration, communication, and foresight.• Employ project management organizational skills in accordance with Project Management Institute’s (PMI) best practices to assist in the timely implementation and tracking of strategic activities and critical tasks.• Conduct research and analysis to define problems, issues, or trends affecting the AFMS enterprise and develop recommended solutions.• Evaluate business policies, practices, and structures and assist with the development of appropriate guidance to improve organizational program performance.• Conduct foresight studies to include environmental scans, develop future scenarios, and use forecasting process frameworks.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS• (12) years working in Federal healthcare [e.g. DHA, Military Health System (MHS), U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED), AFMS, or Veterans Health Administration (VHA)]. The most recent three (3) of the twelve (12) years’ experience must be consecutive experience supporting strategic planning efforts.• A master’s degree in healthcare related programs such as public health; healthcare administration; marketing, or business administration with emphasis in healthcare; organizational management with emphasis in healthcare; strategic management, continuous improvement; strategic foresight, leadership, or closely related field with an emphasis in healthcare course work.Certifications or Licensures:Certified Balanced Scorecard Master Professional and possess at least one of the following certifications or equivalent in a related discipline.o FACHE – Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executiveso PMP – Certified Project Management Professionalo LSS – Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement Certificationo HCQM – Healthcare Quality and Management Certificationo CPHQ – Certified Professional in Healthcare Qualityo Professional Certificate in Foresight (University of Houston)o OBM – Organizational Behavior Management Certificateo SPP – Strategic Planning ProfessionalSecurity Requirements:Must possess an Active Secret security clearance TSIF offers a competitive benefits package to include: paid holidays, paid time off including sick and vacation leave, medical, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, short and long term disability, company paid life insurance, 401(k) with a company match and discretionary profit sharing and tuition reimbursement.
