Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

SCHEDULE
Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A
36 and 48 hours available per week.
1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Duration: 16 weeks.
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified.

REQUIREMENTS
- Active NY RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- 1 year recent experience in acute med/surg/tele
- 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
- Preferred: 2 years recent experience in acute med/surg/tele
- Familiarity with EPIC charting.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct patient care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Report any changes in patient status to the healthcare team.
- Assist with the education of patients and their families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule.
Required to float to other units if needed.
Must be willing to work charge.
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.
