Current TS/SCI with Polygraph On-Site, Relocation support will be considered for candidates outside DC Metro commuting area Full Time W-2 (no 1099 or Corp-to-Corp is available) JTEC Consulting is hiring a senior level System Engineer to provide system lifecycle support. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated analytical and technical skills to support a dynamic technical environment. Current U.S. government security access is required for consideration.Responsibilities:Work as part of a collaborative team supporting design, development, integration, and maintenance for complex technical systems.Ensure reliable operation to meet organizational requirements.Interact with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into efficient and effective system solutions.Apply analytical skills for troubleshooting and issue resolution, and implement system improvements.Evaluate system performance.Create and maintain technical documentation.Coordinate with vendor partners, as required.Promote industry best practices to meet customer's requirements.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:U.S. citizenship; no dual citizenshipCurrent TS/SCI security clearance with polygraphEngineering or other technical discipline related to systems engineering such as computer science, physics, or mathBachelor's with 10 years of related experience OR Master's with 8 year of related experience OR PhD with 6 years of related experience6-10 years of hands-on experience supporting the systems engineering lifecycle including: Design and development, Testing, Production, Deployment and distribution, Operation, Maintenance and support, DecommissioningEffective written and verbal English communication skills to work in a collaborative environment with government and contractor teamsMust be self-driven and able to work independently in a dynamic environment that offers stretch growth opportunities for continuous learning and developmentJTEC Consulting LLC provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws. The estimated salary range displayed in this posting is dependent upon position requirements, individual qualifications, education, experience, location, and other job related factors. Our recruiting team will review candidates' related experience and desired salary targets during the evaluation process. All qualified candidates will be considered. $155,000 - $170,000 per year
