The Puttshack experience is really all about having fun – and doing something fun – together.Position Summary:Puttshack is looking to attract a diverse team of fun hospitality associates who care deeply about creating an elevated, one-of-a-kind guest experience. The Bartender position mixes and serves alcohol and other beverages based on guest requests. The Bartender demonstrates knowledge and ability in the art of mixology - it's the combination of the "show" and the "drink" that brings guests back. The Bartender is responsible for exceeding guests' expectations by providing friendly and caring service!Schedule/Hours:Our venues are open 7 days/week, typically from 11am-1am with some variations. While we will do our best to accommodate scheduling preferences, they may not always be guaranteed, and we value flexibility. All positions within our venue are variable schedules, meaning a typical schedule may be anywhere between 15 and 30 hours on a weekly basis depending on business needs and individual availability.Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To:Bring your 'A' Game every day.Greet guests with a warm invite and sincere smile.Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and instructionsStock/restock appropriate bar areas with alcohol, glassware, ice, garnishes, and supplies.Follow all steps of service to effectively service a full bar top, cocktail station, and dining area.Anticipate guests needs and show attentiveness to ensure overall guest experience exceeds expectationsUnderstand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictionsSafely and effectively transport food and beverage.Keep areas tidy and comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and proceduresGive direction to barbacks and be a team playerSuccessfully complete alcohol awareness trainingFollow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Associate HandbookOther projects or duties as assigned, including but not limited to side-work, opening, and closing duties.Required Skills and Experience:Must be 21+ years of age to applyPrior craft cocktail experience in high volume restaurant or barStrong level of emotional intelligence and overall self-awareness.Must obtain required licenses and certifications per state and/or local requirementsAbility to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment.Safely and effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirementsPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the venue, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfacesAbility to move and lift up to 10 pounds frequently, and occasionally move and lift up to 30 pounds.We Have A Guest Service Mindset And Treat Our Associates The Same Way, Offering Our Eligible Full-Time Associates:Competitive payHealth/dental/vision coverage401(k) matchingLife InsurancePTOAssociate discounts - FREE mini golf and 50% off mealsBenefits eligibility and offerings may vary by location or position.
