Senior Full Stack Developer

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support highly available, mission-critical applications serving public-facing and internal business functions. The role will focus primarily on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Power Platform solutions that improve operational processes, enterprise integration, customer engagement, and service delivery.

The initial scope includes the enhancement, optimization, and enterprise integration of a public-facing notification platform. The selected candidate will help deliver data architecture, application development, workflow automation, enterprise system integrations, UX/UI improvements, accessibility enhancements, quality assurance, performance optimization, and scalable cloud solutions.

This is a hands-on development role with technical leadership responsibilities. The Senior Full Stack Developer must be able to take solutions from idea or concept through production deployment, evaluate existing applications and integrations, and introduce new features without diminishing core functionality. The role requires close team collaboration and delivery using Agile methodologies.

• Lead the full lifecycle development of enterprise web applications, from solution concept and architecture through production deployment and ongoing support.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, enhance, and maintain highly available applications using Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power Platform, and modern full-stack technologies.
• Assess existing applications, integrations, and technical dependencies to determine the best approach for introducing new capabilities while preserving core functionality.
• Develop backend services using .NET Core or Node.js, including REST APIs, microservices, modular components, and enterprise data-integration patterns.
• Develop responsive, accessible, and user-centered enterprise interfaces using React or Angular.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AKS/Kubernetes, Azure Container Apps, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, and related Azure services.
• Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines that support repeatable, scalable, and controlled application delivery.
• Design Azure networking and security components, including VNets, subnets, network segmentation, Azure Front Door, and Application Gateway.
• Design relational and NoSQL data solutions using SQL, document modeling, denormalized data structures, Azure SQL Database, SQL Managed Instance, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Integrate public-facing and internal applications with enterprise platforms, data sources, APIs, and business processes.
• Improve application usability, accessibility, performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product owners, project managers, architects, developers, QA teams, security teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
• Translate business and operational needs into practical technical designs, development tasks, and production-ready solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, troubleshooting support, and guidance on development standards and best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimation, sprint planning, backlog refinement, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, deployment procedures, integration specifications, and operational support materials.
• Support quality assurance, defect resolution, production implementation, performance monitoring, and post-deployment validation.

• 5 years of hands-on full-stack software development experience, including technical-lead responsibilities.
• 5 years of experience with .NET Core or Node.js on Azure, microservices or modular architecture, REST API design, and data-integration patterns.
• 5 years of experience with React or Angular for enterprise, responsive user interfaces.
• 5 years of experience with AKS/Kubernetes, Azure Container Apps, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, and CI/CD pipelines supporting secure and scalable delivery.
• 5 years of experience with Azure VNet design and architecture, subnet design, network segmentation, Azure Front Door, and Application Gateway.
• 5 years of experience with relational SQL and NoSQL database design, document modeling, denormalized data structures, Azure SQL Database or SQL Managed Instance, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• 5 years of experience with solution design, system integration, and cross-functional coordination that aligns business, operational, and technical priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to take enterprise solutions from concept through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Experience working in collaborative Agile software development environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A combination of education and relevant experience providing an equivalent level of competency may be considered.
• Approximately 12 years of combined education and relevant professional experience demonstrating the required level of senior-level competency.

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience delivering public-facing, transportation, government, or other mission-critical enterprise applications.
• Experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, or related services.
• Knowledge of enterprise governance frameworks, secure software development practices, identity and access management, and cloud security controls.
• Experience with accessibility standards and the development of inclusive digital experiences.
• Strong troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production-support skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
