Production Supervisor, 2nd shift

Location: Staunton, VA - In-Office Shift: 2nd shift Your Responsibilities: Monit or production activities to eliminate delays and ensure adherence to production and shipping schedules Ass ist in carrying out production objectives at the lowest cost, consistent with the organization's quality requirements Assure safety and product quality while improving production procedures Coordinate workflow with the various departments involved Report damaged and defective equipment to management Tr ain other employees in day-to-day procedures M aintain quality/quantity standards regarding output A nalyze work orders to estimate working hours and create machining schedules that meet both internal and external needs I nterpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assign duties P lan the flow of materials through department according to work orders I nterface with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met I nspect and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications D irect workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products that fail to meet standards E stablish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules D evelop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product S uggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew A nalyze and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems M aintain time and production records A ssist with capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycle times Other duties as assigned Your Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent 5+ years of related experience Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred) 3+ years of direct supervisory experience (preferred) Your Benefits: Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance 401K retirement plan with employer match Paid time off and company paid holidays Paid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local law Tuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position. The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $66,000 to $108,800 in VA. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
