Travel Physical Therapist (PT) Location: Facility in Bennington, Vermont Job Details Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Bennington, Vermont. Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized equipment and modalities safely, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration. Assess patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management. Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities. Collaborate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to community or home settings. Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice. Required Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in physical therapy. Experience as a Physical Therapist; new graduates are welcome. Additional certifications or licenses relevant to the position. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and computer proficiency. Physical abilities – remain stationary, move, and handle equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Technical/motor skills – fine manipulation, assist with procedures, and use department equipment.
