Department Website: Job Description And Duties Treasury Department has an opening for an Accounting Administrative Analyst (Accounting Systems) classification. Under general guidance of the Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor), the incumbent will perform professional accounting duties of average difficulty to the following: Performs the more critical and complex analytical [Banking] System duties to facilitate efficiency Review and analyze the monthly disbursement bank account reconciliations to identify and resolve account variances. Participating related Banking projects Monitor check stock usage and check forgery items and analyzing Review and analyze payee positive pay items submitted by US Bank Analyze and ensure timely filing of the Unclaimed Property Accounts to multiple States according to compliance and regulation. Propose policies, procedures and guidelines for the unit to reflect current rules and regulations. Serve as primary liaison with internal & external auditors, MAR group, and consultants as needed. Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee’s monthly salary in exchange for leave credits.
