Role Description The Adjunct Faculty - Finances Management for Entrepreneurs is a part-time, on-site teaching role based in Miami, FL. The faculty member will design and deliver course content that helps aspiring entrepreneurs understand financial management fundamentals, including budgeting, funding, and strategic financial planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lectures and learning materials, teaching classes, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves holding office hours, supporting student projects, staying current with industry trends, and collaborating with academic staff to maintain rigorous and engaging curriculum standards. Qualifications Strong foundation in Finance and Corporate Finance, with the ability to apply concepts to entrepreneurial ventures. Proficiency in Accounting, including financial statements, cash-flow analysis, and budgeting for small businesses. Solid understanding of Economics and market dynamics relevant to startups and creative industries. Demonstrated Research skills for integrating current financial practices, case studies, and industry data into course content. Relevant advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a closely related field. Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience in higher education or professional settings. Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse learners. Experience working with entrepreneurs, startups, or creative businesses is highly desirable.
