Locum Tenens Neurology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Consult Service

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage for our Neurology Consult Service in Boston, MA. Schedule & Compensation

Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule

No nights or weekends

Compensation: $120 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Provide inpatient neurology consultations and comprehensive neurological assessments.

Diagnose and manage a broad range of neurological conditions.

Develop treatment plans in collaboration with neurologists and the multidisciplinary care team.

Order and interpret laboratory studies and imaging.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment, and follow-up care.

Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.

Participate in quality improvement and team-based care initiatives.

Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program.

Current Massachusetts NP or PA license, as applicable.

Current national certification appropriate to the provider's discipline.

1–2 years of neurology or related clinical experience preferred.

Strong clinical skills and proficiency in neurological examinations.

Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
