Overview Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) delivers a suite of payment services to financial institutions through FedLine, Fedwire, NSS, FedCash, FedACH, Check Services and FedNow. Work Location and Hours Onsite work is required. Preferred locations: Atlanta, Boston, Minneapolis, New York, Richmond. Working hours: Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 AM ET – 4:30 PM ET. Responsibilities Ensure the 24×7 operation and administration of distributed payments systems supporting high‑value, high‑availability Fedwire businesses. Maintain availability of Wholesale Services and Account Balance Services applications according to business requirements while providing premium customer service. Coach and review work of others, address complex problems and manage projects. Lead large‑scale clearinghouse/transaction processing for FedACH and Check business lines; provide real‑time support for Check/ACH processing. Perform application health and monitoring for core processing platforms and satellite subsystems; support incidents and escalation. Direct and coordinate daily workflow, customer requests, and team responses to operational incidents and service disruptions. Document production issues and resolutions for future reference. Conduct analyses of operational trends and customer volume to support process improvement. Participate in business testing, defect management, and other activities to launch platform enhancements or new services. Assist in creation and development of business requirements and support payment processing testing and implementation of code releases. Provide leadership, training and support to less experienced staff; act as role model and advisor. Develop and revise procedures, define processes, and provide user training. Serve as project manager for process improvement initiatives and communicate with outside vendors. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years equivalent experience preferred. Senior Role: 5–8 years equivalent experience preferred. Lead Role: 8+ years equivalent experience preferred.
