Food Operations Manager 3 – Yale New Haven Hospital Sodexo is seeking an experienced Food Operations Manager 3 to join our team at Yale New Haven Hospital York Street Campus in New Haven, Connecticut. This highly visible leadership role is responsible for overseeing patient dining services and driving operational excellence in a fast‑paced acute care environment. What You’ll Do Lead daily patient dining and food service operations in a large acute care hospital setting Oversee menu development and diet office operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance Drive patient satisfaction through meal rounding, service recovery, and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with clinical, food service, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the overall patient experience Conduct tray assessments to ensure food quality, presentation, and meal accuracy Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), operational goals, and budget expectations Ensure readiness for regulatory inspections, audits, and Sodexo Gold Checks Recruit, train, mentor, and develop frontline employees and supervisors Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and service excellence What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate’s education level or years of relevant experience.
