Job Description This is an ASC-based position ideal for anesthesiologists who wish to stay clinically hands-on while providing medical direction to experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). Enjoy a predictable workflow without the demands of hospital call, nights, or inpatient responsibilities. Practice Setting
Ideal Candidate
- Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment
- 2 Operating Rooms (ORs) + 1 Procedure Room
- Scheduled, daytime cases only
- No required call
- No OB, trauma, or inpatient coverage
- GI procedures (EGD, colonoscopy; advanced GI as volume increases)
- Outpatient spine cases (ASC-appropriate and scheduled)
- Pain procedures (injections, blocks, RFA)
- Predictable weekday schedule
- No required call (optional participation if desired)
- Designed for long-term sustainability and optimal work-life balance
Ideal Candidate
- Board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist
- ASC experience preferred
- Comfortable with GI, outpatient spine, and pain-related cases
- Experience directing CRNAs in a collaborative model
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to provide input into practice development
