Your future role at a glance Location: Murfreesboro, TN Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Specialty: Cardiovascular Telemetry Schedule: Full-Time | Nights How you'll make an impact in this role Lead the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care, ensuring every intervention aligns with the highest safety standards and organizational protocols. Monitor and communicate real-time patient status to the care team, enabling swift, life-saving clinical decisions. Coordinate care efforts across multiple specialties, acting as the central hub between hospitalists, cardiologists, and NPs to provide a seamless, high-quality patient experience. Execute advanced clinical skills, including cardiac drip titration and ACLS protocols, to provide expert-level support for our most high-acuity patients. Manage the full discharge process, ensuring patients and families transition from the unit with clarity and confidence. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
