You will help to facilitate the applicants' chosen pathway to achieve their educational goals through our industry focused and career-driven programs by navigating them through the financial aid process.Responsibilities of the Financial Aid Advisor:Conduct interviews with applicants seeking to qualify and obtain financial aidExamine applicant documents for SFA eligibility requirementsMaintain accurate student files in accordance with SFA regulations including verification and disbursementMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of students receiving financial aidOther duties as assisting by the Associate Director of Financial AidRequirements of the Financial Aid Advisor:High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred3+ years of previous experience in financial aid at a college or university required.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative environmentExcellent customer service skills including phone and email etiquetteStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a virtual environment using multiple software programs simultaneously including MS Office programs, Canvas, Cvue, Gmail, Zoom, etc.Attend required annual trainings as requested on campus.Bryan University is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity as a critical step in ensuring employee, student, and graduate success.
