Senior EHS Specialist - Industrial Construction Safety

Job Title: Senior EH&S Delivery Specialist Duration: Long-Term Contract Schedule: 50 Hours/Week (5 x 10-hour shifts) Pay Rate: $45/hour on W2 - $48/hour on W2 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior EH&S Delivery Specialist to support a major industrial construction project in Carrollton, KY. This position will be responsible for providing Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) support, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting field safety oversight, managing incident investigations, and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the project. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in industrial construction safety, manufacturing, chemical, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments. Previous experience supporting Dow facilities is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Provide EH&S support for ongoing construction and industrial project activities. Conduct field safety inspections, audits, and compliance assessments. Monitor contractor and subcontractor safety performance. Lead and participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation. Support implementation and continuous improvement of EH&S programs and safety management systems. Perform gap assessments and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Assist with permit management and EH&S documentation. Support Management of Change (MOC) processes as required. Coordinate safety training, toolbox talks, and employee awareness programs. Track and report safety metrics, incidents, and corrective actions using company systems. Serve as a safety resource for project teams and site personnel. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 5 years of EH&S or Safety experience. Experience supporting industrial construction, manufacturing, chemical, petrochemical, refinery, or heavy industrial operations. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance requirements. Experience conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience supporting Dow facilities or Dow projects. Experience with contractor safety management. Experience with SAP incident reporting and safety management systems. Knowledge of Management of Change (MOC) processes. Experience delivering safety training and coaching site personnel. Additional Information Onsite position located in Carrollton, KY. Approximately 50 hours per week. Occasional driving within the site may be required. No equipment operation required.
