Machine Operator

We have an outstanding Contract position for aMachine Operator to join a leading Company located in the Rancho Cucamonga, CA surrounding area.

Pay Rate: 

Job Responsibilities:  

• Conducts pre-operations inspections to ensure the machine is ready to be operated in safeand efficient manner.
• Reads and executes daily production schedule as directed by supervisor.
• Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining.
• Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machinery.
• Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.
• Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining andadjusts machine controls or control media as required and reports problems to supervisor as necessary.
• Verifies conformance of finished work pieceto specifications and stops production if any part is detected to be out of specification.
• Will confer with supervisor to resolve machining problems.
• Produces daily production reports, inspections andother reports as directed by supervisor.
• Must have an understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions.
• Maintains a safe andorganized workstation and followsall company policies and safety procedures.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience inoperating what type of machines.
• Ability to set up and operatesCNC machinery. Reporting to Machine ShopeDepartment.
