Job Description

Deaconess Kentucky Specialty Clinic seeking a Pain Management Physician to join a growing, well-supported pain program in Hopkinsville, KY. This position offers a strong guaranteed salary, tiered productivity incentives, APP support, and the opportunity to build a long-term, sustainable practice within a physician-led health system.

Compensation & Benefits:
\n • Year 1 guaranteed base salary: $550,000
\n • Sign-on bonus: $50,000 (forgivable loan over 5 years)
\n • 5-year contract with automatic annual renewal
\n • Comprehensive benefits package
\n • Retirement plans: 401(k), 457(b) with employer contribution
\n • CME: 5 days + $3,500 annual stipend
\n • $1,500 annual CME technology allowance
\n • $60/month cell phone stipend
\n • Malpractice insurance provided
\n • Licensing, DEA, and board fees covered
\n • Mileage reimbursement
\n • Relocation assistance: $15,000

Practice Setting:
\n This outpatient-focused pain management role includes:
\n • Employed position with Deaconess KY Specialty Clinic
\n • Established referral base within Deaconess network
\n • APP support with supervision compensation
\n • Modern clinic space with state-of-the-art equipment
\n • Epic EMR across inpatient and outpatient settings
\n • Opportunity to participate in program growth and service line development

Key Responsibilities:
\n • Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
\n • Perform interventional pain procedures consistent with training
\n • Collaborate with APPs, primary care, and specialty providers
\n • Participate in quality initiatives and department goals
\n • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
\n • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care

Call Responsibilities:
\n • Full-time, clinic-based schedule
\n • Call expectations: to be discussed (flexible based on coverage model)

Qualifications:
\n • MD or DO
\n • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management
\n • Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure
\n • Strong communication and teamwork skills
